Professional Resources

When a company is registered in a state other than where the company headquarters is located and that state requires a physical presence in the state, a resident agent may be needed. The resident agent in the Professional Resources of this application is the representative for the company in that state.

The attorney is the company’s legal counsel and is often on a retainer to handle legal matters for the company.

The accountant is often a CPA or other public accountant that handles the financial affairs of the company.

The realtor is a real estate representative available for consultation with officers.

The banker is an officer of the bank the company uses for checking and other financial services.

The broker is a stockbroker or financial consultant that the company has a brokerage account with and/or uses for financial advice.

Other Resources is a list of Internet web links that pertain to a variety of topics.  Included are links to the Security and Exchange Commission’s web site and to Secretary of State web sites.
